And to think the biggest threat to the O's was our move to Stratford. That aside, I hope they get out of there current plight.

The Chairman is purposely fucking Orient up so he makes flats at the ground! Hearn will take his cut and Orient will try and get Lea Valley ground or move elsewhere.

I spoke to the chair of the LVRPA once and he said hear tried this on and they laughed him out of the room. There are long term assurances that it will remain the National Hockey Centre.
There is one ground I can think of though. The Leyton FC stadium on Lea Bridge Road is free after they wound up a few years back. Capacity about 400. About right for the Os these days.

Wasn't this Bechetti bloke to one that Hearn said we should be terrified of?

Yes it was! I wondered what he was referring to. Perhaps he intends to sue us for moving nearby and ruining the club...

Oh yeah they'll definitely try to layer the blame on us and the gullible media will buy it whereas in truth it was a property transaction all along.
At this stage I think that idea of a phoenix club is the best hope they've got. This bloke has intentionally fucked them and O's fans know it.

Land values are rising. a football club has only debts and fixed assets. Therefore, you sell the land, the ground/ stadium and make a handsome capital gain, like Brighton, arsenal, Coventry and orient (Clapton, Leyton or Chelmsford) and um, West Ham.

Was over there the other week on a freebie, and didn't realise that there are flats now on all four corners of the ground. I think their days are numbered. Massive game against Newport at the weekend.

It will be sad to see Orient go out of the league. I personally have a soft spot for them. They have battled well over the years to survive in the shadow of their more illustrious neighbours, Tottenham and West Ham.
Leyton Orient were formed in 1881 and is the second-oldest league club in London behind Fulham and is the 24th oldest club currently playing in the Football League.
They joined the Football League in 1904 and apart from one year in the top division have played in the 3 lower tier divisions ever since.

MATE is an O's fan (used to come over and watch us if they did not have a game) and was speaking to him at football last Sunday... been going ever since he was a nipper and it was only his 8 years in the Army that stopped him going all the time... he said he's giving up this season just could not take it anymore so is watching Billericay Town instead... and really enjoying it

They were always our inoffensive neighbours who most West Ham fans didn't mind. And then the Snooker Cunt turned up. I hope they survive for the sake of their fans (although who with a choice of WHU and Orient would pick them?) but there is only one villain in this story. Mr B Hearn who was only ever interested in property profits

I think by now it's fair to say that there's a West Ham witch who casts a curse on any club that tries to fuck with us.

What's happening to them is a fucking disgrace. They appear to be being purposely run into the ground by their cunt of an owner. Whether he's in it with Hearn, a genuine nut job or whatever other theory it's their fans who will have to deal with it. Despite all that crap over the OS it's a good old club and doesn't deserve this.

Whatever happened to Charlton, with their self righteous outrage about the OS?
More to come, was the last I saw? They got their freedom of information request, they should have had their bluff called a lot quicker.

I think that looting Orient has always been Hearn's aim. No doubt the Italian's job is to run the club into the ground so that the Os will be forced to move out of Brisbane Road and Hearn will be forced to make a killing selling it.
Naturally they'll blame West Ham for all this.
